What an incredible achievement by John Gilmour Butchers, winning a staggering nine medals at this year’s World Steak Challenge! This included four gold, three silver and two bronze medals 👏
Their four gold-winning steaks will now go through to be judged in the final round, where they find out who has won the overall categories: World's Best Sirloin, World's Best Fillet, World's Best Rib Eye, World's Best Grain-Fed, World's Best Grass-Fed, and the overall champion, the World's Best Steak! The award ceremony will take place in the wonderful Smith & Wollensky London on 13 November 🥩
Dan Gilmour, Co-Managing Director of John Gilmour Butchers said: “The World Steak Challenge gives steak producers and suppliers a platform to showcase product quality, breed credentials and processing standards on an international stage. This year’s event saw record entries from 25 different countries from as far away as Australia and New Zealand, so we are incredibly proud to have come away with nine medals.”
Kate Rowell, Chair of QMS said: "Congratulations to John Gilmour Butchers on their outstanding success at the World Steak Challenge. Your medals are a true reflection of the exceptional quality of Scotch Beef. Best of luck in the final round – we're rooting for you!"
