A collaboration that brings together Scotland’s best quality red meat and a luxury delivery service is set to help the nation ring in 2021 in style.
Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) has teamed up with Glasgow based Thyme 2 Dine to launch a limited-edition Scotch Beef Hogmanay restaurant quality delivery meal box.
The special box has been carefully curated by Thyme 2 Dine head chef and co-founder Peter Carey who has combined locally sourced Scottish ingredients and restaurant quality cooking into a parcel delivered straight to front doors to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.
The Hogmanay menu’s standout star is the delicious Scotch Beef steak and dark Harviestoun ale pie with pancetta sauce. The individual pies are accompanied by a selection of sides including smoked garlic mash, pea puree, tender stem broccoli in almond butter and cider braised red cabbage.
Before the main event, diners can enjoy a more relaxing eating experience as the menu includes a wide selection of canapés featuring Scotch Beef Stovie bon bons with beetroot emulsion. To round off the evening in style, the box contains a trio of scrumptious desserts, a bottle of wine and a complementary bottle of prosecco.
Lesley Cameron, Director of Marketing and Communications at QMS said: “Even though this Hogmanay is going to be very different from normal, I’m sure everyone across Scotland is more than ready to welcome the New Year and say goodbye to 2020. That’s why we are so pleased to be working with Thyme 2 Dine to deliver a Scotch Beef Hogmanay box to bring in 2021!
“There’s no need to miss out a restaurant experience this Hogmanay with the tempting menu combining quality Scotch Beef with professional cooking making it as much of a treat as being out in your favourite restaurant.”
The collaboration is a first for Thyme 2 Dine, which has been a runaway success story of lockdown through its popular offering. It was a natural partnership for both brands as Peter and co-founder Lukas Krischke are both committed to only providing top quality ingredients all sourced from local suppliers and businesses within their restaurant boxes.
They commented: “We only started Thyme 2 Dine in August this year and we have been overwhelmed with all the support and success we have had so far. We are delighted to be partnering with Quality Meat Scotland to deliver the Scotch Beef Hogmanay box. After what everyone has been through this year, our customers can bring in 2021 in style!”
Prices for Thyme 2 Dine’s Scotch Beef Hogmanay Box start from £69.50 for a box for two and are available to order online from the 17 December at www.thyme2dineglasgow.co.uk.
