New Marketing Executive Joins QMS

Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) has appointed Ciara Etherson to the role of Marketing Executive.

Ms Etherson has taken over the reins from Margaret Stewart MBE, who recently retired. She will be leading QMS’s food service activity and will also manage the everyday running of The Scotch Beef Club, promoting beef club members throughout Scotland and The UK.

A graduate in marketing and public relations from Queen Margaret University, Ms Etherson’s career has included working in marketing for IT firm Grant McGregor and Edinburgh-based ice cream manufacturing and retailing business, S Luca Limited.

Laurent Vernet, QMS Head of Marketing, said he is delighted to welcome Ms Etherson to QMS.

“Ciara boasts a solid grounding in the food sector, particularly in the marketing of Scottish food. This, coupled with a strong personal interest in the production and provenance of good food, makes her a strong addition to the team.”
