New Premium Burger Unveiled by McIntosh Donald

Aiming to deliver the best burger in Scotland, McIntosh Donald unveiled its premium-quality Scottish Steak Burger at this year’s Royal Highland Show.

The burger, made exclusively from PGI status accredited Scotch Beef, uses specially selected steak cuts, traditionally blended with a simple seasoning of sea salt and cracked black pepper – resulting in an exceptional burger with superb texture and flavour.

Located in Aberdeenshire, a region recognised globally for its quality Beef and Lamb production, McIntosh Donald has been a purveyor of the finest cuts of meat to retailers and foodservice clients across the UK since 1904.

Visitors to the Royal Highland Show – being held in Edinburgh from the 23rd-26th June - will be able to sample the burgers from the McIntosh Donald stand within the food hall.

Alan McNaughton, Site Director at McIntosh Donald, enthused: “We are thrilled to be launching our truly magnificent Scottish Steak Burger. Having listened to our consumers’ feedback, this supremely tasty burger has been produced to be equally at home on a dining table as on a barbeque!”

The McIntosh Donald Steak burger will be available from Tesco stores later this year, and can be purchased now from the factory shop in Aberdeenshire.
