Quality Meat Scotland’s Scottish Sheep Strategy Group is giving two enthusiastic individuals the chance to attend the Sheep Breeders Round Table 2013 conference being held in Nottingham on 1-3 November 2013.
The sponsorship, which is worth around £300 to each of the winners, will cover the conference fee and accommodation for the duration of the conference. It is open to people who are interested in sheep farming - including farmers, students and researchers.
“The Sheep Breeders Round Table is a biennial event and is an excellent opportunity to meet with the forward-thinkers in the global sheep industry,” said Kathy Peebles, QMS Livestock Development Manager. “This competition is ideal for anyone interested in developing their knowledge of the world of sheep.
“The conference covers all aspects of sheep breeding, from practical farming advice to the use of cutting edge genetic technology, all aimed at helping create a more sustainable sheep sector. It will be of tremendous value to the attendees and, best of all, there is no age limit.”
