Quality Meat Scotland is appearing at Britain’s largest food trade show to get more of the industry to support Scotch Beef and Lamb.
The Scotch Butchers Club, QMS’ group of premium independent butchers that support and promote Scotch Beef and Lamb, will have a stand in the Meat @ Foodex trade show from this Sunday to Wednesday at the NEC, Birmingham.
Independent Retailer Manager for QMS, June Lomax, said: “Foodex is the only UK exhibition covering all aspects of food production, and it’s a great opportunity to reach the kind of industry people that need to know about the Scotch Brand and the Scotch Butchers Club.”
Visitors to the show will also get a taste of Scotland with the Scotch Butchers Club sponsoring bacon rolls for visitors over the four day show. The bacon is being supplied by Ramsay of Carluke, who are amongst the other Scottish companies attending the show.
“We’ll be offering people from throughout the food service sector a chance to see the quality of Scotch Beef and Lamb and discuss with them the opportunities it could bring to their business.”
Foodex runs from Sunday 21 March to Wednesday 24 March – 10.00 until 17.00. The Scotch Butchers Club stand is X060K in Hall 5 of the NEC Birmingham.
