Quality Meat Scotland’s “Do More with Pork” radio campaign has been announced as a finalist in The Scottish Creative Awards.
The awards, run by marketing magazine The Drum, are the most recognised awards in the industry for Scottish creative agencies. The campaign behind Specially Selected Pork has been nominated for best radio advert and was created and produced with The Union Advertising Agency.
The six week campaign, which reached over three million consumers, showcased the quality, affordability and versatility of Specially Selected Pork, which is underpinned by quality assurance schemes which make animal welfare a priority.
Featuring four tantalising “Do More With Pork” recipes, all perfect for both delicious mid-week meals, as well as barbecues with friends and family, the Scotland-wide campaign was supported by online, radio and press advertising.
Commenting on the nomination, Graeme Sharp, QMS Marketing Executive said: “To be shortlisted for such a prestigious industry award is great recognition of the success of the hard work which went into this campaign.
“Our thanks to all of those who we worked with, including the farming industry, for their support and encouragement in developing the campaign.”
The awards will take place on Thursday 6 October at Saint Lukes in Glasgow.
