Meet the Lochaber Monitor Farmers

Here's a lovely wee video that gives an insight into the lives of Chris and Malcolm Cameron who farm Strone Farm near Fort William, the Lochaber Monitor Farm. Their decision to move their ewes and lambs to Inverness and rented land locally to graze over the summer has seen their weaning percentage triple over the last twelve months, and the extra grass they have on the farm as a result has allowed them to increase the size of their pedigree Limousin herd by 20%. To catch up with their latest news, and learn about their recent investment in a small pedigree flock of North Country Cheviots, why not go along to their next meeting on Thursday 1st November?
