Nithsdale Monitor Farm Strengthens Business Through Programme

After starting with just 12 ewes in 2012, new entrants Andrew and Aileen Marchant from Clonhie Farm, the Nithsdale Monitor Farm, now have a small herd of Luing cattle, an expanding herd of red deer and over 900 breeding ewes, which they hope to increase to 1,200 ewes by 2020. This video looks at some essential knife skills that will get you started with vegetables and meats.
