Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) invites its livestock members to spare a few minutes and anonymously share their understanding and experience of being part of its quality assurance schemes.

The results from the survey [link] will provide us with important detail on the key reasons why Scotland’s cattle, sheep and pig farmers choose to become QMS members, with the aim to apply learnings to guide the future of the assurance schemes.

Emma Heath, Director of Marketing at QMS, highlighted the importance of this survey: “Acquiring feedback directly from our farming members is invaluable in making sure our assurance schemes meet your needs and expectations. By participating, you'll help QMS understand what motivates you to join the schemes, how they’re working for you and your overall satisfaction.

“This information will help us refine our engagement with industry on the membership schemes to ensure that their full value is realised for you and your business.”

The survey follows the launch of QMS’s impactful new marketing campaign: ‘When You Know, You Know’. The foundation of the new campaign is to look behind the label and everything that Scotch stands for - to recognise and celebrate the unmatched quality of Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb and Specially Selected Pork. It's about imparting knowledge and getting people to care so that where they have a choice, they choose Scotch because they understand and appreciate the benefits of it. In parallel, our quality assurance marketing messaging will help industry realise the full benefits to their business behind whole chain assurance.

Emma continued: “Your input will directly contribute to our efforts in highlighting the benefits of quality assurance. We appreciate your time and insights to enhance the quality and value of our assurance schemes.”
