Industry Development

All the work we do in Industry Development and, in fact, all of QMS, is intended to support Scottish Agriculture to become more economically, socially, and of course environmentally sustainable.

There is a focus on reducing the environmental impact in every project we deliver, from grazing work to genetics-focused projects.

One of the programmes we recently delivered was our Sustainable Producer Groups. These groups were developed by QMS and delivered in partnership with specialists from SAC consulting. They aimed to establish what sustainable production looked like and how we can improve farming businesses to be more environmentally sustainable.
