Scotchbeefandlamb.com, which attracted more than 58,000 unique visitors last year, has been redesigned to complement the latest beef and lamb campaigns. It offers consumers easier access to a wealth of online resources, as well a better links to social media.
The new site also makes it easier to sign up for consumer newsletters, which have become an increasingly important direct marketing tool. The newsletter, which is sent out regularly to more than 25,000 consumers, features seasonal recipes and cooking tips, and is a major driver of traffic to the main website.
The upgrade also offers an improved search function, as well as larger and clearer recipe images.
Suzie Carlaw, Marketing Controller at Quality Meat Scotland, said: “It’s important when offering a premium product that we have a web presence that reflects this.
“The new site offers a richer more interactive experience and is packed with useful information that will hopefully draw consumers back time and time again, and underline the guarantees of quality and provenance they get from buying Scotch Beef and Lamb.”
The site is also better connected with social media with closer links to the Facebook page “Enjoy Quality Meat” as well as the facility for people to tweet their favourite recipes to friends.
Quality Meat Scotland’s “Get behind the label” videos will also feature on this site for the first time, in line with the move to using the campaign in conjunction with our core advertising campaigns.
