HRH Visit Wemyss Bay

The pride, passion and professionalism of the Ovens family and their team at McCaskie Butchers in Wemyss Bay shines through in this short video of the family and staff welcoming HRH The Princess Royal. The royal visitor saw many award-winning products made by the family business which is a member of the Scotch Butchers Club and prides itself on serving 100% Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb and Specially Selected Pork. HRH also met including Rory and Andrew Duff of MacDuff 1890 and beef farmers Johnny and John Paterson of Garrionhaugh, South Lanarkshire.

Dog Owners Urged to be Sheep Wise

****PLEASE SHARE & HELP RAISE AWARENESS****A host of organisations are supporting a "Sheepwise" video produced by QMS and NSA Scotland to encourage the public to be aware of the need to keep dogs under control in the countryside. Among the organisations supporting the video are Police Scotland, The Kennel Club UK, NFU Scotland, British Veterinary Association (BVA), Scottish Land & Estates, Scottish Natural Heritage and Scottish SPCA. The aim is to drive awareness with a combined social media push of the video ahead of the busy Easter weekend when 1000s of people will be heading to the countryside with their canine companions. All help to spread the word much appreciated!
