Visitors to this year’s Royal Highland Show are being invited to visit the T-SHED at the Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) stand to pick up this year’s limited-edition Make it Scotch t-shirt – a stylish way to celebrate Scotland’s world-class red meat industry while supporting two deserving agricultural charities.
On sale from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 June, the high-quality cotton t-shirts will be available in a range of adult and kids’ sizes, priced at £5 each, with all proceeds shared equally between RSABI and the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) Big Build.
The 2026 design ties in with QMS’s wider consumer marketing campaign “When you know, you know” and features a proud reminder that Scotch is only ever born and reared in Scotland. Make it Scotch is the home for the three flagship brands of the Scottish red meat industry – Scotch Beef UK GI, Scotch Lamb UK GI and the newly rebranded Prime Scottish Pork. From campaigns featuring TV adverts to social media, press features to billboards, shoppers are encouraged to ‘get in the know’ and learn more about the brands and what’s behind the renowned blue labels at makeitscotch.com.
This year’s inspiration was taken from popular outdoor clothing brands to create a t-shirt that farmers, industry stakeholders and consumers alike would be proud to wear out and about, and features an stylish outline drawing of a cow on the back, and the simple Make it Scotch logo on the front.
And by popular demand from those who collect the QMS t-shirts each year, the ’26 detail has been subtly incorporated into the cow’s ear tag.
Emma Heath, QMS Director of Marketing, said: “Buying our t-shirts has become an annual show tradition for many RHS visitors and people tell us that they love collecting them. They’re a simple and powerful way to show pride in the quality and provenance of Scotch red meat while backing two fantastic causes that mean so much to our rural communities.
“We hope everyone visiting the Royal Highland Show will stop by, pick one up and wear it with pride – whether it’s on the farm, in the pub or even as a pyjama top – knowing that every single purchase is helping support both RSABI and the SAYFC Big Build.”
All proceeds from the 2026 t-shirt sales will be shared equally between RSABI, which provides practical, emotional and financial support to people in Scottish agriculture, and the SAYFC Big Build, which aims to raise vital funds needed to create a new permanent home for Scotland’s Young Farmers at the Royal Highland Showground.
Whether you’re a farmer, foodie, or simply proud to support local produce, don’t miss the chance to wear your support and take home a piece of the show.
