The Member Status Checker allows you to check whether a farm or holding in Scotland (or holdings associated with a membership number), is currently an approved member of the QMS Cattle & Sheep assurance scheme and therefore quality assured.
The Scotch Potential Eligibility Cattle Checker (SPECC) is a tool which allows farmers, auction markets and abattoirs to check whether individual animals are potentially eligible for the Scotch brand. It’s very easy to use and returns quick search results.
SPECC allows you to view all cattle registered on your holding(s). You can also check the status of any animal by manually entering the eartag number or by scanning the short barcode at the top of the passport.
